This story begins 30 years ago when Grandfather Salvatore bought a piece of land near our house to build an auto body repair shop. He made part of the land into a chicken coop and a small vegetable garden, where he spent his mornings sowing seeds, hoeing, planting vegetables, harvesting potatoes, and pruning fruit trees.

A simple story about work, land, and memories.

Meanwhile, our father, Giovanni, worked in the workshop all his life, along with his cousin. That is, until he agreed to make room for our projects; with the constant support of our mother, Mirella, the garage slowly emptied to wear new clothes.

Here we were born, here we grew up, here we keep the most beautiful memories.

In 2018, the project @costadibaunei was born, aiming to spread the word about the beauty of our area worldwide. Today @costadibaunei boasts over half a million followers across social media.

The idea of converting the garage and vegetable garden came from here. We thought of rooms where we could welcome all the people who fell in love with our coast by scrolling through pictures and videos posted on social media, as well as all those who got here just by chance: there are no filters, everything is real, and the shades of blue are endless.

Cristiano’s sister Fabiana also participates in this ambitious project. This is a family story of seeds planted and sprouting into a dream come true.
